One of the best figure manufacturers takes on one of the most overproduced characters in the figure world and outdoes every single other one out there. What can I really say about this figure that isn’t said by just looking. The details are absolutely stunning from the gears in the figure all being meticulously well crafted to the joints having Aegis etched in them in a clear and smooth manner. Combine that with a near perfect paint job and this goes from being just another Aegis to being not only the best rendition of the character, but one of the best figures of all time. If you can find a decent deal on the figure. I would say buy it, especially if you are a Megaten fan. This is a figure that anyone would be happy to have in their collection.

I usually consider myself up to date when it comes to figures but this ended up cathing me a little off guard as it’s not something I really expected to see. I mean Aegis in a maid outfit. How great is that? Well, not so great considering it’s relatively steep price of 10,800 Yen. She’s a little cheaper than that when you pre-order but it’s still a steep price for a figure that I am finding to have a sculpt that is a bit dull.

However, if you are interested you can snag her at Ami-Ami for 9190 yen, HLJ for 9,780, or Hobbysearch for 9,180

Metis from the Gathering. It’s every kind of holy crap amazing and I just finished putting it all together. Ridiculously epic and goes perfectly alongside Aigis which is part of a set. Aigis was given a full release from Cospa a while back and I do hope it sells well enough to warrant a full release as well because…WOW.

Everything about Metis is crazy fucking epic.
